Lesley Delgado
Founder and President
Lesley Delgado founded StaffPro America in 1992 with a clear vision to launch a staffing business with a different philosophy than most. Her intention was to offer a more personalized approach to truly understanding both the clients and the candidates - to know much more about them then what was on a work order or resume. This high touch approach, along with Lesley’s dynamic leadership, has earned the company a reputation as a valued strategic partner, and a great company to work for. “We are about helping businesses select the right employees for the right positions, and this means understanding the personalities involved, the culture and work environment as well as the business goals of the client. With that profile we can then present candidates that would fit right in because we also get to know where an applicant can truly excel. The best fits are much more than a skills match.”
Lesley began her professional career in the staffing industry, and held Senior Management positions with several large staffing companies prior to founding StaffPro America. She is very active in giving back to Detroit Metro Area communities, taking on leadership roles and contributing her time and talents to organizations and causes she believes in. Lesley also accepts frequent invitations to speak to professional and business organizations, and loves supporting other women who have entrepreneurial dreams.
Lesley and her husband Bill have two beautiful daughters and a great son. Her roots are here in Michigan where she is committed to the community and a holistic lifestyle.
Christine Herron
Senior Vice President Finance and Operations
Christine has been working closely with Lesley Delgado since the company was founded in 1992. She took on alternating roles of recruiting, operations and administration in the early years of the company’s growth as she immediately embraced unique business philosophy that has differentiated StaffPro America from other staffing companies. “We have built a solid roster of repeat business clients and to me that is testament to the process we use to find the right fit for every opening. The high-touch, personal approach we take with clients and candidates is why I am here – it’s all about taking the time to understand what people need.”
Christine spent ten years managing insurance offices before taking a short break in to raise her family. Upon returning to the work force she was introduced to various forms of staffing and seven years later joined Lesley to start StaffPro America. Her knowledge and experience in Human Resources and Finance were a good match for what StaffPro America needed in the beginning. Never planning to be a career woman, she found herself being such a good fit with the company, she started her new career from which she hopes to retire from someday.
Christine was born and raised in Detroit and has strong ties to the area. She and her retired husband have three children and two grandchildren with whom they enjoy getting together with them whenever they can.
Linda LoCicero
Operations Manager
Linda’s extensive operations and management experience in staffing within various industries positions her to easily connect with clients and candidates. She can quickly get to the core of what a business or candidate needs to be successful, and does what she can to make that happen. “What makes StaffPro America unique is that we truly understand that the right fit is more important than matching the resume to the job description. That’s why I love doing what I do here!” Linda’s experience as an entrepreneur running her own business has helped her tremendously in understanding a business owner’s peril. Those working with Linda immediately recognize her passion for what she does, demonstrated by her professional communication style, warmth and quick wit.
A metro-Detroit native with roots back to the early 1900’s, Linda has a tremendous amount of passion for the re-growth and development in the Detroit area. Included in this is her desire to coach others and encourage education & career development. Linda holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in Relationship Counseling from Western Michigan University. She and her family enjoy spending their free time up north taking advantage of what Michigan has to offer.
Judy Perry
Director of Business Development
Judy Perry has been working with businesses of all types and sizes on a grassroots level for over sixteen years. She enjoys cultivating and then deeply developing relationships that provide partners with solutions to issues that are most relevant to the future of their businesses.
Judy maintains she was attracted to StaffPro America “because I have yet to witness the excellence of service combined with the incredibly positive energy that this company possesses anywhere my travels have taken me since I’ve been a member of the workforce.”
Mrs. Perry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and Education from Michigan State University and is an extremely active member of various professional and business associations. Her passion has always been to make a “significant difference” in the lives of others through her work.
Judy and her husband, Benn, were raised in Michigan and their vocations took them to South Florida for a “brief 14-years hiatus”. While their son, Darren, remains in Florida for graduate school, Judy and Benn decided to move back. Their love for family, the people in Michigan in general, and the overwhelming desire to live in a climate that affords “rebirth and renewal” through its four seasons ultimately brought them back home to their metropolitan Detroit roots.
